Graphic Designer II
Designer, director, and manager entrusted to create print, environmental, outdoor, and interactive solutions resulting in the largest revenue in DU history, $261 million with 88 percent mission efficiency. Commissioned and directed photographers and illustrators. Photographed products, portraits, wildlife, and landscapes. Wrote, submitted, and evaluated numerous RFQs. Collaborated with in-house print shop.
    • Initiated and supervised development of FIDO, an online creative brief
      and tracking system. FIDO streamlined the entering, assignment,
      progress monitoring, and archiving of 650+ jobs in two years. 
    • Composed full-range solutions for two national conventions including promotional, ad, way-finding, environmental, and digital graphics. 
    • Developed corporate brand identity system with respect to grid, illustration and photography style, color system, font usage, tone, restructured logo, and segment identifiers. 
    • Recruited and leveraged network of printers, significantly lowering production costs.
    • Modeled FirstFlight micro-site identity, design, and video production.
    • Researched digital print production strategy to increase brand consistency, volunteer efficiency, and cost tracking for 4,500 annual grassroots fund-raising events.
    • Collaborated with corporate sponsors such as Yamaha, Bank of America, Jack Daniels, Federal Ammunition, Avery Outdoors, Anheuser-Busch, and Mossy Oak.
    • Prepared annual report’s strategy, design concepts, budget, and traffic management.
    • Contributed to a 5,000 member increase over two years through the development of concise and targeted membership materials.
    • Negotiated large-format digital contract with local vendor, reducing per unit costs by 50%.

Created integrated print and website campaigns within fast-paced team environment. Utilized SiteWrench, Speak’s proprietary content management system. Led teleconference client presentations. Worked with in-house developers toward improvements and launch of SiteWrench 4.0, particularly the conversion to CSS back-end technology.
    • Designed zoo membership direct mail campaign, helping Memphis’ wildlife park attain
      a #1 national ranking (Trip Adviser).
    • Volunteered design services to local AdFed Pyramid Awards promotional invitations;
      won silver Addy for concept.
